- 1980 - Randy Lindquist started out in the insurance business by joining a well-established Frederick County agency as an insurance agent
- 1992 - Erie offered Randy a chance to represent them, as Randy had the unique combination of qualities needed to start a new agency
- 2005 - Took over Kelly & Associates, Urbana, MD
- 2008 - Randy was honored with the Quality Agency Award, which is Erie’s most prestigious recognition, for his efforts in building his agency
- 2011 - Acquired McCutcheon Insurance, Gaithersburg, MD and Sherman-Emerson, Mt Airy, MD
- 2012 - Acquired Brian Bays Insurance, Annapolis, MD
- 2016 - Took over Carmack Insurance Group, Frederick, MD
- 2018 - The agency was acquired by Ray Cogan. Ray was with Erie Insurance in the state of Ohio for 17 years, including as the branch manager
